Comment Policy

I want this blog to be a place of conversation, but to keep the peace and maintain a sense of order, some things need to be said.

Because of the large amount of spam comments I have received in the past, I have made the decision to not allow anonymous comments any longer.  In order to comment, you must sign in with one of the following log ins   Google/Gmail, LiveJournal, Wordpress, TypePad, AIM, or OpenID.  If you do not have one of those, you can either email me your comment at kirraantrobus@gmail.com (please note which post you are discussing) or sign up for an account at one of the above websites.

You won’t have to complete a Captcha (I hate those!) to post a comment, and comments are not moderated, but I reserve the right to delete comments.  This is not so I can keep only the comments I like and agree with.  This is to avoid spam and offensive or other negative comments.  If I decide a comment does not further a discussion, whether it is spam or it is offensive and unproductive, I reserve the right to remove it.  I have no problem discussing with you why a comment was removed, but I hope that this will not be an issue on this blog.

I plan to cover a wide range of topics related to God, theology, the Bible, and Christian life in general.  I realize that sometimes these topics can become controversial, and I ask that any discussion be respectful and thoughtful.  Argumentative debating is discouraged, but respectful discussion of ideas and opinions is welcomed.  I want to be able to leave all comments that are posted, but I realize that sometimes things get out of hand.  The decision to keep or remove comments is based on maintaining an edifying environment for all readers and commenters.

I hope this makes clear what my thoughts are regarding comments, but if you have any questions, feel free to contact me via my profile.
